An Art Deco original, refurbished for the next century.
Designed in 1938 by Alderman Shennan — whose firm would later build the clubhouse at Royal Birkdale — and reopened in November 2018 after a full refurbishment of the lounge and interiors.

Heritage
A protected piece of inter-war architecture.
From the curved windows of the lounge to the clean geometric stonework outside, Childwall's clubhouse is a confident, well-preserved example of late-1930s civic Deco. The 2018 refurbishment respected every original detail.

Seating over a hundred guests with its own bar and private entrance — ideal for weddings, parties, wakes, society prize-givings and corporate hospitality.
