The Clubhouse
An Art Deco original, beautifully refurbished.
Built in 1938 to a design by Alderman Shennan — whose firm later built the clubhouse at Royal Birkdale — and refurbished throughout. The James Braid function suite seats over a hundred, and our caterer looks after everything from a four-ball to a function of a hundred and twenty.

What a fantastic day out on Sunday 27th jul 25, firstly i must give a shout out to Ashley and her colleagues and the breakfast staff for the best brekkie on the Tour, they did a wonderful job looking after the Battered Husbands G.S from...
Course is in great condition, the club house is great and the staff in the pro shop are very friendly. Can't recommend this place enough 👍
Had a fantastic round of golf here today. A lovely inviting course that, although not difficult, needs some thought and good course management to get round with a decent score. Very friendly members and very helpful pro in the shop. Would highly recommend and will most definitely be back. Thank you to all at Childwall GC.
Excellent course in a great condition. Fabulous clubhouse with friendly helpful staff. Great pro.
Great place to play and be a member. Pro shop and club staff are amazing. The course is known as being the best in Liverpool and rightly so. Greens are running perfect at the min and the whole course is in great shape thanks to the greens staff work during lockdown.
Many thanks for your comments Thomas, I'll pass them on!!
Very good standard golf club, possibly the best condition within Liverpool, although it's been quite wet, all greens were playable. There is a little ground work going on but this didn't interfere with our game...
